Instagram is by far my favorite social media channel (are you already following me?)! I love to get lost between countless beautiful pictures and get some travel inspiration for my next adventures. If you’re an Instagram lover yourself and if you have found your way to my home town Berlin, then you came to the right place. Because today I’m revealing my favorite spots to take some instagrammable pictures of Berlin.

1. East Side Gallery
The East Side Gallery is definitely a must-see in Berlin! This part of the historical Berlin Wall is full of colorful street art and paintings from artists from all over the globe. It’s the longest open-air gallery of the world, so that it will certainly give you enough opportunities to snap some great pictures.

2. Spree
Wether you’re taking a boat ride or just hanging out in one of the many bars along the Spree, it’s pretty unavoidable to miss this canal when exploring the city. The picture below was taking near the main train station in Berlin. However, another popular and instagrammable spot of the Spree is at the Oberbaum Bridge in Friedrichshain.

3. Berlin Cathedral
In my opinion, this is the most beautiful building in Berlin. No matter how often I pass by the Berlin Cathedral, I’ll never get tired of gazing at it. That’s why, you will spot this gem several times in my Instagram feed.

Located in Mitte

4. Hackesche Höfe
Just a couple of walking minutes away from the Berlin Cathedral, you can find the Hackesche Höfe. These courtyards offer everything and anything: shops, cafés and restaurants, galleries, a little cinema and amazing street art. The later one is ideally suited to snap some Instagram shots.

5. Charlottenburg Palace
If you want to feel like royalty, head to the Charlottenburg Palace. Make sure to wander around the stunning surroundings. The best time to visit the palace is in spring and summer, when the garden is in full bloom. Who doesn’t like to look at beautiful flowers, right?
